Registration:  4/27/09 -- Registration is now closed due to parking limitations. Over 250 people are planning to attend. Please check back for photos and updates from the Bash, new vendors and products. And please support our future fundraising activities, starting with the Third BFK Online Auction so that we can continue to save lives. (If you have not already paid for your spot at the bash, please bring $10 per person or $25 maximum for families and pay at the gate).

Location:  Cricket's Corner Community Dog Park, 389 Requeza Street, Encinitas, CA 92024

Times:  10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Activities:  Food Vendors, Doggie Product Vendors, Product Demonstrations, Contests, Games, Raffle, and more!

About the Bash

Bichon FurKids Rescue (BFK), a charitable not-for-profit animal rescue organization, is dedicated to rescuing, restoring and re-homing Bichons, Bichon mixes and other small breeds. In 2008, BFK rescued and placed over 400 FurKids in loving and responsible forever homes. Medical attention, spaying/neutering and grooming were provided for each FurKid one prior to adoption.

The annual "Bichon Bash" is the primary fundraising event to support our rescue efforts. As those of you who have attended previously know, this is a truly special event. This year we plan to add dog contests, a parade of rescues and recognition of our volunteers to the events of the day, along with pet adoptions, a vendor faire, lots of food, drinks and camaraderie. Last year nearly 200 people attended the event with about 150 of their FurKids.

It is a great day for those of us who love bichons - and we hope to see you there!
