Bichon FurKids Rescue (BFK) is a charitable not-for-profit organization. Our goal is to rescue Bichons, Bichon mixes and other small dogs who can no longer live with their original guardian or guardians. We believe that each life is meaningful and that all 'Fur Kids' deserve to live out their lives as loving companions in forever homes. BFK volunteers believe that our animal companions deserve to be cherished, cared for and protected. We value the loving contribution they make to our lives and are dedicated to assisting these loyal companions find a second chance at life. We are strongly committed to making a difference in the lives of Bichons, Bichon mixes and the FurKids with whom they play. Our volunteers reflect this sincere desire through their willingness to foster, transport and assist in the effort to rescue and re-home daily. As part of our mission, we educate the community regarding the necessity to eradicate puppy mills, the importance of spaying and neutering pets and how to be responsible pet guardians.
